The Torygraph has published a short guide to Hvar town.
This is a fun day-trip on the catamaran from Vis, on Tuesdays only. Only 35 mins it gets you to Hvar in time for a pleasant alfresco breakfast at about 8 am, returning to Vis at 4 pm.
The guide recommends some restaurants and some interesting places to see within easy walking of the harbour.
